Healthy Snacking.

Got the Munchies?
The other day I decided to try this for my kids since they always have the munchies after school and they loved it. My little boy came to me and said "mommy please make this everyday ,they are the best, I love it and I Love you (in his cute baby voice just melts my heart)" . I was so happy especially since they are not packed with sugar. They are so good. Sometimes we want to snack healthy take a break from junk food and this is perfect. I switched the regular chocolate chip for Dark chocolate chip and the Canola oil for organic coconut oil.

I enjoy baking a lot .

Ingredients:

2 Cups all purpose flour
2 1/2 cups old fashioned oats
11/2 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup coconut oil (melted)
1/2 teaspoon of salt
2 cups dark chocolate chips

Steps:

  •  Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking pan with parchment paper. spray the parchment paper with some cooking spray(optional ) I do it as a habit just incase the cookie decides to stick you know .
  • Mix the oats,Flour, chocolate chips, eggs, salt, coconut oil , salt ,brown sugar and vanilla extract all together until its all mixed in.
  • Once all that is done using clean hands roll the mixture into tiny balls and arrange them on a pan. Cook it for around 20 mins or until its brown.
Best served when hot with a nice cup of milk . Yumm.

Thank you for reading and have a wonderful time and week . Enjoy

Xx
